Gonsalves and the sex tapes 11/25/2016
On several occasions in the past weeks, I was forwarded the total of three extremely, disturbing short audio recordings of a voice alleged to be that of the prime minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph E. Gonsalves. But the communication that really got my attention was the extremely high level of the seriousness and disgust with which my high school classmate, who is non-political, expressed her rage and disgust to me.
She said, "Allan, I was always of the opinion that you were always too hard on Prime Minister Gonsalves, but I just listened to a disgusting audio, of a phone conversation between Gonsalves and a young lady and the graphicness of the sex act that was on that recording made me sick to my stomach."
I have studiously and analytically listened to these recordings over a period of several days.
Although I am not a trained and or certified voice analyst or by extension a voice pathologist, which are two classes of professionals or specialists from whom a court of law will accept evidence, confirming or denying if the male voice on the audio recording is that of Ralph E Gonsalves, after comparative analysis; however, after studiously, analytically and comparatively listening to these recordings with an ear that compares the speech pattern, the pronounced word sound, the pronunciation of key words, looking for the improper comparative pronunciations of key and general words, the speaker’s word spacing, the fluency of the speech, etc., I am satisfied in my mind that the male voice on those recording is that of Ralph E. Gonsalves, the prime minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Please bear in mind, I am not a professional voice analyst but I am one with the knowledge of the subject and therefore I have come to a comparative, but unprofessional conclusion.
If this person is indeed Ralph Gonsalves and I don't have any reason to believe it is not him, what would possess a man any man of his age (almost 80 years), who is married to what can be considered Dominican royalty, being the political head of the government of St Vincent and the Grenades and by virtue of that office the chief "role model" to whom the nation looks to for leadership in all areas of life, to have become so freakishly complacent to have initiated and allowed himself to be led into such a sexually degrading conversation with one who is several decades his junior?
He not only managed to take that child closer to becoming a prostitute, he also took the entire nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines down several notches on the ladder of civility, into the realms of the beast.
It is shameful to hear such grown, hardback old man behaving in such a trifling and uncivilized manner with one from all accounts he has had several sexual rendezvous. This was not a leaked erotic phone call to the woman to whom he is espoused, but it was a phone call to one who my investigation has revealed is a 22-year-old female.
In one of the recordings, the adult male, who is believed to be Ralph, is telling this child, he wants her to take control of him among other disgusting things. To hear this self-centered individual described his private part or his sex organ in a self-flattering manner but, according to the word on the streets, his description is far from the reality but represents a fragment of his deluded imagination.
It is no secret that the female person on the audio is known to the SVG community. In the same manner the identity of the police woman who brought rape and sexual assault charge against Ralph Gonsalves, and the woman that went by the name Kate, who took the mike at an NDP women’s rally and speak of her sexual abuse that stemmed from a child and later as a young adult by a prominent lawyer in Kingstown, in similar manner, this new victim’s identity was made public by reputed trade unionist and noted ULP spokesperson Buns Bonadie.
Burns took the liberty to release the young lady’s correct name, immigration information, such as when she left St Vincent and the Grenadines for which Caribbean country, the flight number, etc. Apparently the lady knew that the tapes were going to be made public and sensed that her life would have been in danger and fled the country a few days before the recording were made public.
President Clinton was impeached for having a consensual sexual relationship with an adult who was not his wife. Anthony Weiner’s political career was destroyed because he was sexting and Elliot Spitzer was made to resign office for his sexual indiscretions. Yet Vincentians have ignored complaints of felony rape, sexual assaults that were made against Gonsalves by more than one person. Even after Prime Minister Gonsalves, by his own free will, in a press confession called by him to shed light on the allegations, publicly confessed to sexual assault of the police officer, when he admitted that he give the police officer a reassuring kiss.
The last time I checked the laws, if it can be proven (this was a public confession) to kiss someone, unsolicited, who did not appreciate that kiss after it was given is guilty of sexual assault.
Well, general elections are on December 9, 2015, and the ULP is contesting the next general elections. Let me see if Vincentians have become so demonic that they will put back this wicked man Gonsalves and his evil party into power. For now all I can say is, “What a country, what a people.”
